common words:
eryn ~ wood
glad ~ wood
taur ~ great wood, forest
tawar ~ great wood, forest (also pertains to the material)
The only mention I’ve found so far of tawar is Tawarwaith which is commonly used for silvan or forest elves. Tawar ~ great wood or forest and (g)waith host, people, region
Taur Gonwaith: Gond meaning stone, (g)waith meaning people, host, area, region. (Stone trolls in screenshot). Forest of the Stone People.
Taur Morvith: I think this is: morn ~ dark, black and vith (from mith) white fog, wet mist. Forest of the Dark Mist?
Taur Orthon: Orn meaning large tree and thôn meaning pine tree. Forest of Tall Pines. (Edit: Thanks to TwoBob for providing the translation and pointing out this thread in the comments)
Glâd Ereg: Ereg meaning holly tree, thorn. (Screenshot from wiki). Holly Wood
(Translations are from the Appendix: Elements in Quenya and Sindarin, The Silmarillion, J.R. R. Tolkien or Hiswelókë’s Sindarin Dictionary. I am not an expert at all – if you see any mistakes please let me know!)
